READ THE UPDATE CENTER ARTICLE FIRST TO MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE SUPPORTS THE LATEST OS BEFORE CHANGING DEVICE SOFTWARE. DIFFERENT DEVICES RUN DIFFERENT OS VERSIONS. 

This Standby/Sleep Mode will allow your Conversion Kit, for a pre-defined period of time, to remain in a sleep more. When you get in the car within this defined time period, it will boot much more quickly. If your device sits unused longer than the predefined sleep mode time, it will turn off fully and require a full reboot. Here is a video on how to enable/setup this feature:

1. Make sure your device is running its latest OS (check the Updated Center article on our Help Center here). If you have any questions about updating your device, contact our support. Read the guide very closely to make sure you select the applicable version for your device.

2. Select Advanced Settings > Enter 8868 as password > Do not change any other advanced settings. 

3. Locate and select "Standby time" which by default is turned off. You can select "12hrs" "24hrs" or "36hrs." Make sure you have a newer car battery, as this will cause your device to draw a small amount of power. When you get back in your car within that predefined time period, the unit will fast boot from standby mode.
