SOLVED: T-Mobile IPv6 HotspotUpdated 8 days ago

How to connect a Lexus Conversion Kit to your iPhone as a Hotspot if you are using T-Mobile.

Please note, you must first disconnect your phone from CarPlay before you can use it as a hotspot. This is a limitation of the iPhone. It cannot be simultaneously connected to CarPlay and as a hotspot for device.

T-Mobile is a great carrier because they stay on the cutting-edge of technology. They have been aggressively rolling out IPv6 for iPhone hotspots. It is a new type of IP address that is not compatible with many Android-based devices automatically (included many brand-new name-brand devices).

To use your iPhone's T-Mobile hotspot on your Hamilton Conversion Kit for your Lexus, please watch the below video very carefully. Here are the values you need to enter. Double check these after you enter them to make sure you have them correct. Do this very carefully. You will not need to repeat this often.
