Hamilton Conversion Kit for 4Runner - Turn on Factory AmpUpdated 4 days ago

If you just installed your Toyota 4Runner Hamilton Conversion Kit for CarPlay and Android Auto, or any other Hamilton Conversion Kit for Toyota, and your volume is too quiet or has crackles, follow these steps.

1. Power the unit on and access the Hamilton Underlying OS (in CarPlay press the Hamilton icon to access this). 

2. From the left-side menu select the apps drawer button

3. Tap "Car Info" app

4. Tap "Amp Settings"

5. Change Amp volume (we recommend between 15-35 depending on your original vehicle options.) Vehicles with factory JBL amps, typically need to be closer to 35. Adjust it and listen to your audio until is sounds how you like it. This setting controls your amp power level.
